This is an emergency geolocator, the Garmin InReach Mini 2, which allows the Haute Route team to follow your route in real time. With this device, you don't need to worry about coverage or calling 112 in case of problems. You will be able to communicate with us via satellite, wherever you are, and receive the help you need.

The Garmin InReach Mini 2 will be given to you during the pre-departure briefing, where we will explain its use and how to activate the distress messages. Throughout the route, we will be monitoring your progress and ready to assist you in case of any unforeseen event.
